It is rough when it rains all day and you have a little kid to entertain. There is not much to do, especially nothing to do that is on the inexpensive side. But I have to say I am excited for my son to start school again. He starts second grade on Monday and he is very excited. We went to his school this morning and met the teacher and I got his school shirts that he wears on Friday's. The teacher seems real nice and I think it's going to be a great year. And I am so excited for him to be going back. I have defiantly turned into one of those parents who jumps for joy when the kids go back to school.

I know it might sound corny but sometimes the kids and I sit around and play the letter game, or we'll play math questions, both totally made up games but they really like the games. Sometimes they ask, "can we play the letter game". Someone simply calls out a letter and then we go around in a circle saying three words that begin with that letter. The children here are seven, nine, and twelve. Either that or fifty-two pickup is a fun indoor game.
