Hello I am  writing to you today to dicuss "writing to learn."  When I think about this concept the first thing that comes to mind is how someone learns to write.  One of the first things we learn as children is the alphabet.  After we learn how to form basic words and then how to put them into senteces.  So reading and writing is a way to pass along information.  Basically someone could pass along information to someone without being present.

  1. Good point John, I agree about writing to pass along information to others.

  2. Okay, but what do we mean by "passing along information"? Is anything really transferred, like a little nugget of info? We speak of transferring information, but I'm not sure that is what happens.

  3. I agree with the concept you've provided, though slightly incomplete. You've inspired me for my next post, so I thank you!! Great train of thought. You should continue it a little further and I think you would express completely where you were trying to go with this. Good job.
